Hi Nissa - early bird tickets are only available until June 15 (while quantities last) for $7. Once they are sold out or the deadline passes, the advance tickets become available for $10.

Our swap bags are handy for carrying around the things you find at the swap in - it'll hold about 10-15 items. You can participate without them, they're optional. We are selling them for $3 in advance or $5 at the event.

I had no idea there was guilt in those clothes I have never worn. This is a must try. I love the reverse de-clutter step. This really helps you pick out the clothes you really love and those that are just "ok." Thanks for sharing your experience!

Yes! The only difference is that we usually ask people coming with clothing the day of to bring a maximum of about 10 items (so our volunteers can sort quickly and get everyone into the event in a timely fashion)

The deadline for dropping off clothes seems to be passed. Do you still accept shoppers the day of (who will not have been able to drop off clothes, if they missed the deadline)?

I'd like to know more about how this works. So you have your items to swap in a clear plastic bag, you bring them to the event...don't they have to be checked and sorted then? Doesn't that mean a long wait? Or is this done somewhere else beforehand?

I hope to join you guys when you're looking for volunteers for swap events! I have a Montreal second hand question for you. One of my friends tell me that there is a buy the pound clothing place downtown but he couldn't remember any details. Le sigh. Do you know it? Can you tell me where I can find it? I really miss my old days of the dusty treasure trove that was Buy the Pound Toronto. Ga! The fabrics alone. Sari material to die for.

Hi Laura, the event wasn't organized by us, but we helped them with some publicity. They need all the help they can get, since swaps are less common in Mexico - in fact that was the first swap ever happened in Mexico, Guadelajara!
